God's Creation Part 2

This will be about the powerful yet detructive things in God's creation. If you are wondering why God put things that can be harmful (i.e. hurricains twisters), then, at the end of this page, there is an essay about how these 'bad things' came about. Or, something like that!!!!  ;)

 Why is there destruction?

      Now, look at all these pictures, see the awe and power in these disasters, but they can be fatal. Why would God create these disasters? Well, He didn't. God didn't make these disasters, well, not because he wanted to, anyway. Why do you spank your child(ren)? Because you love them. Well God loves us, too. He would be a bad Father if He didn't punish us when we sinned. The entire story is in Genisis 3, but I will start when Adam and Eve are caught and punished after Eve has fallen to the temptation of the Serpent (Devil). Then when Adam ate of the apple from Eve. I will start in Genisis 3:12-20.

12 The man said, "The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it."

 13 Then the LORD God said to the woman, "What is this you have done?"
      The woman said, "The serpent deceived me, and I ate."  14 So the LORD God said to the serpent, "Because you have done this,
       "Cursed are you above all the livestock
       and all the wild animals!
       You will crawl on your belly
       and you will eat dust
       all the days of your life.  15 And I will put enmity
       between you and the woman,
       and between your offspring and hers;
       he will crush your head,

       and you will strike his heel."  16 To the woman he said,
       "I will greatly increase your pains in childbearing;
       with pain you will give birth to children.
       Your desire will be for your husband,
       and he will rule over you."  17 To Adam he said, "Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, 'You must not eat of it,'
       "Cursed is the ground because of you;
       through painful toil you will eat of it
       all the days of your life.  18 It will produce thorns and thistles for you,
       and you will eat the plants of the field.  19 By the sweat of your brow
       you will eat your food
       until you return to the ground,
       since from it you were taken;
       for dust you are
       and to dust you will return."  20 Adam named his wife Eve, because she would become the mother of all the living.

        To put it simply, we sinned, and we were punished. "Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life.       God punished us for our sin. Why would He curse the ground because Adam and Eve ate of an apple? You would have to read the entire chapter three. The tree that the apple (or another fruit) came from, was called Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. God said, "You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it or you will die." Those were very simple instructions. The serpent decieved Eve saying that knowledge like God's was better than obeying Him. The Devil will lie and try to decieve you like he did to Eve. He lied to her when he said that it will give knowledge like God. Eating the fruit would open your eyes to sin. Adam listened to his wife instead of obeying God. Men, always listen to your wife unless listening to her and obeying her causes you to sin against God.

    So back to the begining, when Adam and Eve (the only humans on the earth at that time) sinned, they brought in sin, and God had to punish them because He loves us.
